OCee Design Ltd (formerly Office Chairman Ltd) is an independently owned UK company.

The company was established in 1990 and currently employs over 50 people at our showroom and manufacturing plant in Northamptonshire. In the heart of the country, at the crossroads of several major transport links and only an hour from the capital, our location is ideal for efficient nationwide distribution.

We are also pleased to announce that we now have a London based showing.

Our mission

Our ongoing goal is to consistently improve, develop and grow the company creating comprehensive portfolios of seating encompassing all aspects of the commercial market, from reception to breakout to meeting and task seating.

Design

Over the past 20 years we have gained an enviable reputation in the commercial and office furniture market for quality and efficiency. However it’s only recently that we have discovered a hidden passion: design-and what’s more, affordable design.

We recognise that our customer’s productivity, quality, employee retention and business success are positively affected by creative workplace design.

As such we have invested in some of the best designers in Europe creating innovative seating solutions, that not only look good, but

inspire and motivate whilst providing comfort and support. Engineering affordable as well as desirable design led product is now a core value embedded in oceedesign’s future vision.

Quality and Production

The key to creating affordability is our continual investment in lean manufacturing processes to promote efficiency and consistently high quality.

oceedesign’s production processes and systems are accredited to ISO9001 (design) and ISO14001 (environmental) standards. In addition, all our products are designed to meet current strength and durability standards including BS5459 where applicable.

A major factor contributing to our success is the relationship with our customers.

By listening we have developed an understanding of our customers needs.

Acting on what we hear has provided us with several unique advantages in the marketplace such as dedicated customer service teams, extended warranties, bespoke product design solutions and ‘direct to site’ delivery options.
